Skrillex, Four Tet and Fred Again.. surprised fans by going b2b2b at pop-up show in the centre of Times Square from a converted school bus.

Ahead of their headline show at Madison Square Garden, the three gave fans another chance to catch them performing after their upcoming event sold-out in minutes.

Their spontaneous show saw hundreds fill up Times Square as well as many join online via The Lot Radio stream.

Playing the likes of new Joy Anonymous to Fred Again.. and Skrillex’s ‘Rumble’, the hour-long set.

One moment of the set that has gone viral shows Fred Again.. rewinding Four Tet dropping the dubstep track COUNTRY RIDDIM’ by HOL!.

Twitter users have named it “the worst wheel up of all time” with others calling it “embarrassing”.

Since then, Skrillex, Four Tet and Fred Again.. have performed their five-hour-long set together at Madison Square Garden, New York.

Tickets to the event at the iconic 20,000-capacity indoor arena sold out in a matter of minutes and also saw the surprise release of Skrillex’s second album within 48 hours.

The show included Destiny’s Child and Taylor Swift remixes according to Variety as well as some of Skrillex’s own hits such as an edit of ‘Bangarang’.

Skrillex released his first album ‘Quest For Fire’ in nine years last week and then just 48 hours later released another album, ‘Don’t Get Too Close’ which features Yung Lean, Bladee, Chief Keef, Justin Bieber, PinkPantheress, Trippie Redd, Bibi Bourelly, Kid Cudi, and more.
