Forbes shares the 2016 'Electronic Cash Kings' list
See exactly how much EDM DJs are making
Forbes has just released its list for the top 10 'World's Highest Paid DJs' of 2016.
Dubbing the millionaire bunch the 'Electronic Cash Kings', the annual financial round-up reports on the ridiculous annual income EDM artists make as they jump across mega stages around the world.
Once again, DJ-turned-celebrity Calvin Harris sits atop the list with $63 million raked in this year while juggling all-star residencies and a rocky, highly-publicized relationship (and break-up) with Taylor Swift. Coming in second as a list mainstay is Tiësto, who made only half of what Harris earned with $38 million. Rounding out the top three is David Guetta, who drew in $28 million for his national performances and radio plays.
A handful of DJs who appeared as last year's top earners were absent from the collection, including Deadmau5, Afrojack and Avicii.
