Flume, The Avalanches and RÜFÜS up for ARIAs
A slew of strong electronic releases dominate this year's Australian Record Industry Awards
The nominations for the Australian Record Industry Awards (ARIAs), the country's most recognised music industry awards, have been announced.
It's the tightest electronic field to date, with a host of solid releases from Flume, RÜFÜS (RÜFÜS DU SOL), The Avalanches (pictured) and Hayden James coming out over the past year.
Flume leads the way with 11 nominations, including Album Of The Year, Best Male Artist and Best Dance Release.
But RÜFÜS and The Avalanches are also up for Album Of The Year and Best Dance Release, as well as Best Group.
The awards ceremony will be held in Sydney on November 23.
