Filming for Ibiza Shore will start in the next few weeks
MTV is adamant the show will go ahead despite strong opposition on the island
The Ibiza locals don't want it, we're not overly keen on it, but MTV isn't backing down with planned reality show Ibiza Shore.
First politicians voiced their opposition to the Balearic take on Geordie and Jersey Shore and that was followed by an optimistic businessman attempting to gain rights for the show's name before it went ahead.
Alas, despite a petition of 10,000 against it, MTV has said the "show must go on", according to the Mirror.
Filming will commence in the next few weeks apparently so, if you're on the island, keep your eyes peeled for a bunch of wasted goons being followed around by a camera. And if you're not lucky enough to be on the White Isle, you'll have the pleasure of being able to watch it on TV in autumn.
