Shygirl and The Streets join Iceland Airwaves 2026 bill
Iceland Airwaves has unveiled its initial line-up for 2026, set to take place across multiple venues in Reykjavík from November 5 - 7 celebrating rising talent and global stars.
The first slew of acts set to perform include Shygirl, Bleech 9:3, Dove Ellis and The Streets, who will perform their acclaimed 2004 album ‘A Grand Don’t Come For Free’ in full.

London’s LIDO Festival announces Maribou State as 2026 headliner
LIDO Festival, the new London knees-up that celebrated its first edition in 2025, is returning to Victoria Park this August with a headline set from Maribou State.
Taking place on August 31, LIDO will also welcome the likes of Calibre, DJ Koze, Kelly Lee Owens, LTJ Bukem and more throughout the day, alongside previously announced acts Kelis, Folamour, and Theo Parrish B2B Moodymann.

C2C Festival announces new wave of artists joining line-up for 25th anniversary edition
C2C Festival is hosting a milestone edition in Turin this year, celebrating 25 years of the festival across October 29 to November 1.
Among the 17 new artists joining the bill are The Avalanches, Shygirl, Smerz, HEADACHE, Grouper, Wendy Eisenberg, Visible Cloaks, ML Buch, Marina Herlop, Kode9 & RP Boo, and Elias Rønnenfelt.
The festival will also be returning to the Teatro Carignano, the historic baroque theatre venue, for the first time in 11 years. It notably hosted the world premiere of Kode9 plays Burial in 2010.

FORWARDS Festival completes line-up for 2026
FORWARDS Festival has finalised the line-up for this year’s event, which takes places across August 29 and 30 on the Bristol Downs.
Names joining the completed bill include Erika de Casier, Crazy P (DJ set), RUBII, 1-800 Girls, Wesley Joseph, Jamz Supernova and Ledbyher.
There’ll also be late-night performances on The Information Stage for 2026, from the likes of AUGUST, TXN (Tlya X An), a NEXT LEVEL showcase, and more.

Sónar is heading to Japan this summer for collab event in Tokyo
Sónar is taking part in the inaugural NU Festival in Tokyo this summer across June 26 to 28.
NU Live x Sónar Sound is described as a “meeting point for music, art and digital culture” and themed around Next × New × Unity.
Artists locked in to play include Actress, Suzanne Ciani, William Basinski, Grandbrothers, DJ KRUSH, Daito Manabe, Two Shell and Nathan Fake.
Portrait XO, Albert.DATA and artist and AI researcher Nao Tokui are featured in the Sónar+D programme.

San Francisco's Portola Festival shares 2026 line-up
Portola Festival is preparing for its return to Pier 80, on the banks of San Francisco Bay, across September 26-27, and typically jam-packed line-up of electronic stars are set to perform.
Among the acts announced for the Golden Voice-owned two-dayer include Skrillex, Robyn, Swedish House Mafia, Skepta, KETTAMA, Fatboy Slim, Soulwax, Prospa, Four Tet, Overmono, Silva Bumpa, Bassvictim, Melanie C (DJ Set), VTSS, Kelela and many more.

Barcelona's SOUNDIT Festival announces stage line-ups and unveils "secret b2b" for debut edition
The debut festival from Barcelona party collective SOUNDIT is set to take over Parc Nou, El Prat de Llobregat on July 17-18, and the inaugural event has now confirmed the programming across its four stages: EL·LIPSE, HALO, ECO and LABERINT.
The festival has also confirmed that its previously announced "secret b2b" will be the first-ever back-to-back set from Venezuelan raptor house legends DJ Babatr and DJ Yirivin, who will be appearing as part of a takeover from TraTraTrax.

Northamptonshire's Shambala shares full line-up for 2026 edition
Shambala Festival has shared the full line-up for its 2026 edition, which will be returning to Kelmarsh Hall in Northampton, Northamptonshire for four days this August.
With 15,000 people expected to attend the festival across August 27-30, Shambala will also host over 400 artists, including Daisy Moon, Jinx in Dub, The Glitter Bosher, Alfresco Disco DJs, Gallegos, Minimal FAFF and many more.
