MUTEK Montréal unveils first batch of names for 2026

MUTEK Montréal has announced the initial line-up for its 27th edition, set to go ahead from August 25 - 30 across the city centre’s arts district, the Quartier des spectacles.

The first batch of names focuses on international talent, the festival explains, with local artists from Québec and other regions in Canada to be revealed soon. The bill so far includes Ben UFO, Jeff Mills, Polygonia, NVST, A Guy Called Gerald and more.

“This 27th edition places an even stronger emphasis on live performance and on a walkable festival circuit, allowing audiences to experience the festival as a true sonic exploration in the heart of the city,” says MUTEK co-director Alain Mongeau.

Wild Wood Festival celebrates 10 years in 2026 with stacked bill

South Cambridgeshire’s Wild Wood Festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2026 with a landmark edition from June 19 - 21, enlisting a stacked bill of names from around the world.

Said to be its “most ambitious edition yet”, Wild Wood has tapped Palms Trax, Paula Tape, Call Super, Ivan Smagghe, Lukas Wigflex, HUNEE B2B Optimo, Erol Alkan and more to perform at the boutique, 2,000-person event this summer.

Iceland Eclipse expands to five days for the nation’s “last total solar eclipse until 2196”

Iceland Eclipse is expanding to five days for its 2026 edition, which takes place across August 11 to 15 at the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, which has glaciers, volcanoes, waterfalls and black sand beaches.

The event is timed aroud the natural phenomenon which is set to be Iceland’s last total solar eclipse until 2196, and unites music, art, science, wellness, and environmental exploration. It’s limited to 3,333 participants.

The eclipse will be celebrated with an Eclipse Meditation Symphony, a 45-minute performance featuring 15 musicians and a 30-voice choir.

The festival is due to kick off with a special Welcome Ceremony on August 11. It will be hosted by Unify.org, opening with an Icelandic elder explaining the mythology of the land alongside Icelandic musicians, closing with a set by AWARË. 

New additions to the dance music line-up include Maribou State (Live), AWARË, Quantic (DJ Set), Freedom Fighters, Desert Hearts, Justin Sloe (Droog), ANNA, Ella Knight and Snow Raven.

Iceland Eclipse has also revealed its Fourth Contact programming of artists, speakers and experiences, which includes Darren Aronofsky, Carl Hayden Smith, Amanda Sage, Brent Pella, Emily Fletcher, and more.

LadyLand reveals 2026 line-up for NYC Pride Weekend festival

LadyLand is back for 2026, taking place Under The K Bridge in Brooklyn on June 27.

Kim Petras is headlining, with the likes of Romy (DJ Set), DJ Gigola, DJ Meredith Marks, Hannah Diamond, CupcakKe, and more, on the bill.

It coincides with New York City’s Pride Weekend.

New festival with a focus on 'eating and dancing' to launch in Essex

Promising to bring together "selectors, live performances and London’s food and drinks scene", Back of House Festival will throw its inagural edition at Kelvedon Hall, Brentwood, Essex across August 14-16. 

Among artists and restaraunts set to appear at the festival's first edition include Bel Cobain, Children of Zeus, Josh Caffé, Flo Dill, NIKS, 2FOX, Albert Smith (Smoking Goat), Elliot Hashtroudi (Camille), Holly Middleton Joseph (Hausu), Suzie Bakos (The Little Sauce), Black Wine Club, and Hector’s.

No Art Manchester announces location and line-up for 2026 event

Dutch duo ANOTR have shared details of their biggest No Art party outside of Holland, No Art Manchester, which will be taking place at Bolesworth Castle on May 30. 

Among artists set to join them for the two-stage event include Maro Carola, Max Dean, Chaos in the CBD, Moxie, Priku, Us Two, Toman, Benja and Silvie Loto.

Bilbao BBK Live adds Calvin Harris to 2026 line-up 

Adding to its already stacked 2026 line-up, Bilbao BBK Live has confirmed that Calvin Harris, Westside Cowboy, hemlocke springs, La Paloma and BARRRK will be performing at the festival, which will take place at Mount Kobetamendi on July 9-11. 

The new additions will join already announced acts at the 20th anniversary of the festival, including David Byrne, Lily Allen, Charlotte De Witte, Soulwax, TOMORA, Richie Hawtin Presents: DEF EFX XOX, horsegiirL and many more.
