Free music festival BOEM returns in Italy this summer

BOEM, a free music festival held on the beach of Bogliasco in northwestern Italy, is back this summer across June 26 to 28.

Located just outside Genoa, Bogliasco is a “small Ligurian village of colourful houses, fishing nets, little coves and the occasional surfer.” 

The line-up this year includes international artists such as Jasper Tygner, Deena Abdelwahed, Polynation, Zimmer 90, Yuuf, Allah Las and Fejká, whose Coexist label is hosting a takeover.

Italian artists on the bill are Kawari, Pierka, Ma Nu and Marco Giongrandi. 

Alongside music, organisers promise good food, quality drinks, the sea, integration and sustainability.

Panorama Festival takes over Puglia’s ancient quarries this August

Puglia’s Panorama Festival is back across August 14 to 16 this summer.

The three-day festival hosts some of the biggest names in dance music inside the stone quarries of Cave del Duca in Lecce. 

Artists set to perform this year include BLOND:ISH b2b Vintage Culture, Jamie Jones b3b Seth Troxler b3b The Martinez Brothers, Josh Baker, Mau P, Mochakk, Pawsa, Peggy Gou, Solomun, ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, Gennaro, Kimonos, Rolbac and Saraga.

The festival’s CEO and Art Director, Vincenzo De Robertis, says: “Panorama Festival was born in Puglia, but it looks to the world with a clear vision. We want to grow, expand, and bring the energy, culture, and identity of our territory to an ever-higher position on the international stage. Our goal is to create experiences that transcend borders, connecting artists and global communities while transforming every event into a bridge between local roots and the global future of electronic music.”

Glasgow’s Sonica Festival unveils 11-day music and art programme

Glasgow festival Sonica has unveiled its full 11-day programme for 2026, taking place from September 24 - October 4 at Pollok House with over 170 artists in tow.

From Buchla synthesiser legend Suzanne Ciani to a plethora of experimental talent, this year’s edition promises to bring “unforgettable performances, premieres and unique collaborations”, per Baillie Annette Christie, Chair of Glasgow Life. “Sonica continues to support and help develop artistic practice and bring it to appreciative audiences.”

Meakusma Festival reveals full line-up for 2026 edition

Meakusma, the annual experimental festival taking place in Eupen, Belgium, has revealed its full 2026 edition with over 140 names on the bill, including Anderson do Paraíso, Valentina Magaletti, DJ Plead, JASSS and many more.

This year’s edition is set to take place from September 3 - 6, and will span a programme of live performances, DJ sets, experimental shows, installations and workshops.

Skrillex shares details of new Berlin festival and platform CONTRA 

Skrillex has announced a new event and platform, CONTRA, which is to take over former power plant Kraftwerk Berlin, including its venues TRESOR, Globus and OHM, next week (May 30-31). 

The two-day event, created in collaboration with Berlin Atonal, will feature sets from Blawan, Bladee, Ahadadream, DJ Lag, Flowdan, Jawnino, Lou Nour, KAVARI, Tash LC, JASSS, Crystalmess and many more, all accompanied by spatial design from Paris-based studio Matiere Noire.

Philadelphia's Making Time Festival shares 2026 line-up

Making Time Festival is gearing up to return to Philadelphia’s Fort Mifflin, where it will celebrate its 26th birthday among some of the biggest acts in electronic music across September 18-20.

Among the 120+ artists confirmed to perform at the Pennsylvania-based event include Bicep, Kim Gordon, Theo Parrish, Daphni, Smerz, Skee Mask, Avalon Emerson, Los Thuthanaka, Octo Octa B2B Eris Drew and Jump Source.
