Free-to-attend Black queer festival is coming to East London next month
A new, free-to-attend queer festival will land in East London next month as part of the V&A East's 'The Music Is Black' East Bank takeover in Stratford across 22–23 August.
Curated by Shy One, 'the Prince of Peckham' Mark-Ashley Dupé, east London creative Donnie Sunshine and DJ Joel Mignott, Queer Frequencies will feature sets from SisterMatic, Private Joy, Lil C, Seb Odyssey, Fiyahdred, Alizé, DJ Biggy C, DRYBABE, Ken Styles, Manny Mark, Töpia, Jungle Kitty and many more.

The Cause unveils full programme for The Cause FM: New Frequency day event
East London venue The Cause has shared the full programme for its forthcoming The Cause FM: New Frequency day festival, a celebration of global independent radio stations that will takeover the site in Canning Town on July 25.
Alongside previously announced broadcasting partners, Berlin's Refuge Worldwide, Bali's Headstream by Potato Head, Seoul Community Radio, London's Keep Hush and Voices, will be performances from L-Vis 1990, Tornado Wallace b2b Fantastic Man, Upsammy, Didi Han, Sansibar, Sooyeon, DJ Sweet6teen, Elijah b2b Yemz, Jameson Jameson, Jonny Rock, Sophie McAlister, Stella Zekri, Teki Latex and TRYB b2b Holy C.

Charivari announces line-up for return to Detroit next month
Detroit-based four-day festival CHARIVARI has announced the line-up ahead of its return to Tangent Gallery and TV Lounge for this year's edition, which will take place across August 13-16.
With this year's theme pinned on "PARALLEL", as a "celebration of the paths we travel, the communities we build, and the generations that continue to move together", this year's line-up features a host of local and international stars.
Those artists include Dantiez, DJ Bone, DJ Spen, Eddie Fowlkes, Garrison XR, Gettoblaster, Kai Alce, LADYMONIX, MNTRA, Norm Talley, Satoshi Tomiie and many more.

Portugal’s DHB Festival reveals 2026 line-up
DHB Festival has revealed the line-up for its 2026 edition, taking place across September 18 to 19 at the beachfront location of Costa da Caparica, 20 minutes from Lisbon.
The likes of Luciano, Bedouin, Josh Baker, Carlita, Ahmed Spins and Beltran are on the house-heavy bill.
This year marks the fourth edition of the two-day dance event, which is run by Lisbon-based creative agency As We Are Events.

Dreamstate SoCal returns for 11th edition, shares full line-up
Dreamstate is set to place at Queen Mary Waterfront in Long Beach, Southern California, across November 20 and 21 this year.
The festival will showcase more than 70 artists across four stages, including the Long Beach Amphitheater which is new for 2026.
Debuting names include ARTBAT, Enrico Sangiuliano and Pegassi, with the likes of Above & Beyond, Mauro Picotto and Ferry Corsten + Marsh also appearing on the trance-heavy bill.
