Essential: Alma’s ‘Chasing Highs’ gets a funky flex remix from Le Youth

Alma’s ‘Chasing Highs’ has been getting racking up the global charts since its release earlier this year on PME Records, and now Le Youth has treated us to a bouncy rework.

The green-haired electro-pop artist from Finland first caught our attention last year with her vibrant ‘Dye My Hair’ EP, making fans of BBC Radio 1’s Mistajam and Annie Mac, and landing her a support tour with MØ, as well as winning two EMMAs (Finland’s answer to The Grammys).

On remix duties, Le Youth aka LA producer Wes James, adds an element of chilled 90s flair to the infectious, carefree vocals which are reminiscent of a Robyn track.

At 21 years old, Alma is paving the way with her artistry and zero fucks attitude and she is currently working on new music with MNEK, Rudimental, Charlie XCX and Sub Focus. We’re fully on board.
