Elrow has issued an apology to fans after it published a poster depicting a caricature of Hindu God Lord Shiva.

The Barcelona-based clubbing brand said: "We would like to apologise to anyone offended by the elrow Bollywood artwork released yesterday. We have taken onboard the feedback and changed Bollywood artwork across the board."

The poster was being used to promote a forthcoming Bollywood-themed party in Manchester, in conjunction with The Warehouse Project.

TWP has also released a statement via Facebook, saying: "We want to apologise to anyone who has taken offence at the elrow Bollywood artwork. This was not at all the intention - we have taken all feedback and comments onboard and have now changed the image."
