70-year-old ravers pen letter to fabric

The couple visited the London club in May

After an elderly Polish couple caused a stir by partying at fabric last month, the cynics of the dance music world insisted it was all a publicity stunt initiated by WetYourSelf! DJ Jacob Husley.

Well, we bet you'll be feeling a bit silly now because the husband of the couple has written a letter detailing his and his wife's visit to the London rave den.

Originally sent to a Polish TV station, then translated, Husley posted the content on his Facebook page.

"Some commentators of the article ‘Elderly Polish couple buy fabric club night tickets online and rave until 5am’ on the internet can’t believe our story and claim it is a PR stunt or that it was set up. They are all wrong. Mr Hansen [Husley] didn’t know us and our home place. In fact he didn’t know it until now."

The husband, given a cup reading 'Handsome Hustler' by one raver, may have defended Husley over the publicity stunt claims, but the DJ might want to rethink his music selection if he wants the pair to return to the Sunday night party.

Maybe mistranslated, the letter reads: "Personally, I’m not a big fan of techno but I am a fan of electronic dance music which fabric used to play. I’d recommend to Mr Hansen [Husley] to play this kind of music once a week or three times a month, it’s worth trying." Ouch.

Note: The letter mistakenly calls Jacob Husley 'Jacob Hansen'
