Earth Boys in The Lab NYC

The Lab NYC is Mixmag and WAV's weekly live stream and post-work unwind, powered by Void Acoustics, where we showcase the finest DJs direct from our Brooklyn office. This Friday, September 28, we welcome in local duo Earth Boys for a special live set with saxophonist Jeff Hackworth to explore the soulful side of jacking house.

Brooklyn natives Earth Boys, consisting of Julian C. Duron and Michael Sherburn, are quickly establishing themselves as one of the most exciting and intriguing projects to come out of NYC in recent history. With releases on 1080p, Let's Play House, Public Release and Mike Simonetti's 2MR imprint, the duo blend warm, soulful and hazy textures to deliver a unique brand of raw house music that nods to classics of the past while also showcasing an innovative approach. It's this energy that has translated into a captivating live show, which will be presented at The Lab NYC, a session that will also serve as a release party for their debut album, 'eboys' released via Public Release on September 28.
