The non-profit Los Angeles-based radio station will be partnering with the international airport for "three to five years"
dublab is set to partner with Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to bring music and art to the Tom Bradley International Terminal for the "next three to five years", the LA-based radio station has confirmed.
Confirming the news via Twitter, dublab posted a clip featuring interior shots of the airport, along with the caption: "It's been years in the making, and now we can finally announce: dublab has been awarded a grant to program Art & Music at the Los Angeles International Airport!"
“‘We are honoured to curate diverse and memorable art experiences to enhance and humanise the travel experience,” reads the video text.

The grant was awarded to the broadcaster by the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs and Los Angeles World Airports.
The radio station-turned-arts-hub recently celebrated 25 years of broadcasting free-form, independent radio. RA reports the programme will feature original compositions, exhibitions, and performances by more than 30 artists.

Since broadcasting began in 1999, dublab has expanded to include art, films, and events in its programming. Despite having roots in LA, the radio station now hosts shows DJs and artists worldwide.
