Dr. Fresch b2b SNBRN b2b Shaun Frank in The Lab LA
Some midweek future house action
The Lab Los Angeles is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly post-work unwind where we stream only the finest American and international DJs, live and direct from our Downtown LA office. This Wednesday, we're kicking off 2016 with some back-to-back-to-back action from future house stars Dr. Fresch, SNBRN and Shaun Frank. This Lab lands ahead of their New Order Tour, which will hit the famous Exchange LA on February 6. Tickets here.
Tony, the LA-native, was still a student at the University of Southern California in 2012 when he founded Prep School Recordings and began producing under his Dr. Fresch moniker. His remixes on Dim Mak and Big Mamas House brought him into the spotlight, and his releases on OWSLA, Ministry Of Sound and beyond have accumulated over 10 million plays on SoundCloud to date. 2015 brought a massive festival touring schedule for Tony as well as the start of his own mix series The Prescription, which you can listen to here.
Joining Dr. Fresch will be his friend and fellow producer Kevin Chapman aka SNBRN. SNBRN has an educational background in audio engineering and production, which led him to his current creative path. With hits such as his 'Sexual Healing' and 'California' remixes, Kevin is well on his way to the top. Listen to SNBRN's sunset house here.
Last but not least, Shaun Frank will be going in with SNBRN and Dr. Fresch. Toronto-based producer and songwriter Shaun Frank has been in the music game since his early teens. His venture into dance music skyrocketed in 2014 courtesy of his collaboration with Borgeous and Delaney Jane called 'This Could Be Love'. Following that release, Shaun Frank went into the studio with global superstar Oliver Heldens for 'Shades of Grey', a track which has accumulated over 4 million plays so far.
The Lab LA is strongly powered by Void Acoustics. Watch Dr. Fresch b2b SNBRN b2b Shaun Frank in The Lab LA below or via MixmagTV.
