Further screenings will then take place in select cities such as Amsterdam, Nottingham, Newcastle and Brighton.

The film documents the UK's free party explosion at the end of the '80s, detailing how young people sought respite amid Margaret Thatcher's Conservative government and its oppressive social and economic policies.
Rave Culture: A New Era also traces the infiltration of newfangled genres from overseas, like Detroit techno, Chicago house and New York trip hop, and how their influence helped shape British rave culture.
Alongside never-before-seen archival footage, the film captures the essence of the "rave revolution" through interviews with some of its key figures, including Orbital's Phil Hartnoll, General Levy, The Prodigy's Leeroy Thornhill, Dee Patten, DJ Hype, Fabio, promoter Andy Swallow and many more.
