Doctor Dru in The Lab Goa

The Lab Goa is Mixmag and Breezer’s weekly live event where we showcase the finest DJs at clifftop venue Salud, overlooking the iconic Ozran Beach.

On Thursday, December 16, we’re excited to showcase Doctor Dru. Sign up for guestlist here.

After a cluster of European live shows, Hamburg’s Doctor Dru - real name Martino Doncello - has started to make his way around the globe before heading out to India this week for the second edition of The Lab Goa. The multifaceted artist launched his career through an infatuation with drums, now translating that to his adept synth talent. Through his regular output on labels such as Ya Hala Ya Hala and Flying Circus, Doctor Dru also runs his very own imprint, JEUDI Records, where he continue to release dynamic and emotive tracks.

Doctor Dru’s most recent two-track EP, ‘Trip To Bianya’, pays homage to South Asia ahead of his trip halfway across the world while its second track finds influence from North African soundscapes. Following a trip to Morocco’s Marakesch, ‘Setting of the Sun’ was the inspiration behind the vibrancy of the city’s buzzing atmosphere.

Sign up for the Lab Goa with Doctor Dru here, and find out more about future events here.

Catch the stream from 2:30PM GMT on Wednesday, December 22. Tune in over on our Facebook page and on MixmagTV.
