Norway's Djuma Soundsystem has been behind some huge tracks on many labels – not least, 2003's perennial classic 'Les Djinns'. Here he teams up with Pete Oak on Steve Bug's label. Sounding like the vocalist from Lil Louis' 'Blackout', Lazarusman's smoky, spoken-word vocals sit on top of driving drums, a gravelly bass, tinkering synths and restrained deep chords, making this a humongous main-room track. Pete Oak creates his own remix, which is a deeper, dubbier jam than the prodigious original.
