Globally-revered turntablist DJ Yoda swaps out the vinyl for Pioneer DJ's brand new DDJ-REV7 controller this week in The Lab LDN. The British DJ, known for his unsullied blends between hip hop, house, 80s pop and synth-driven tracks, floats effortlessly between genres with a knack for scratching - and a keen eye for selecting. Having previously taken home a DMC DJ award under the scratch category, the DJ now heads up the panel of judges on the world championship competition year after year seeing in the next generation of fresh talent.
This week, DJ Yoda takes a spin on brand new decks. The DDJ-REV7 controller by Pioneer DJ boasts two scratch-style jog wheels with on-jog display emulating a professional DJM-S mixer and PLX turntable setup. With a whole new and improved set of features perfect for open format and scratch DJs everywhere, DJ Yoda gives this brand new controller the first spin this week in the Lab.
