DJ Hell cancels show after USB containing “unreleased music” stolen in Milan

DJ Hell has called for information on the whereabouts of a stolen bag, which carried his USB containing “unreleased music”, as well as personal items.

The German DJ took to Instagram on Saturday, June 21, explaining that his bag was stolen while dining at a restaurant in Milan the day before (June 20).

“[The bag] included my passport, credit cards, cash, USB stick (with music & important data), and car keys,” he explained. “This is a personal and artistic loss.”

The incident occurred just hours before he was scheduled to perform at Milan’s Vacuum club alongside Jade Removille and Peppe Amore for NR Magazine, which was ultimately cancelled.

DJ Hell apologised to fans for the cancelled show, writing: “I’m deeply sorry for the sudden cancellation and thank you for your understanding.”

“If anyone in Milan has seen or heard anything, please get in touch — any information is greatly appreciated. Stay safe out there,” he said.

Earlier this month, The Menendez Brothers put out a plea for the return of a stolen DJ bag containing USBs with “years of collected music” and unreleased tracks.

The duo shared a video of the bag being taken just “minutes” after their performance at London nightclub fabric began, which showed an attendee grabbing the bag from the booth.

“Inside were lots of USB’s filled with years of collected music, but more importantly, lots of new unreleased music we have been working on,” they wrote.
