DJ Fresh is quitting touring
“I cannot continue to be part of this industry. I hate everything about it.”
DJ Fresh has announced he will quit touring from January 2017.
The Bad Company member made the announcement on Facebook, writing that he can no longer be a part of the “fake, soul destroying” music industry.
In May, the drum 'n' bass producer spoke about suffering from thyroid disease, but initially kept it quiet as he had "been told it's a bad idea to air anything that makes you look unstable in any way". He added "the music industry is brutal and relentless and unforgiving."
Last week he wrote on Facebook that he got the "all clear" after having radiation treatment.
Fresh is due to play at Amnesia in Ibiza and Pukkelpop in Belgium in the next month. Check out his full tour dates here.
