Diddy’s release from prison pushed back following alleged rule break 

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ release from prison has been pushed back by a month, Page Six reports, meaning he will now serve time until June 4, 2028.

The disgraced media mogul was originally set for release on May 8, 2028, after serving 50 months in a New Jersey jail on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

According to TMZ, the release extension comes after he landed himself in trouble with prison officials. Sources allege that Diddy consumed “homemade alcohol” while in jail, made of fermented sugar, Fanta, and apples.

TMZ’s sources also allege that Diddy was caught by prison officials, who made a plan to move him into a different unit, but later decided to leave him where he was.

Diddy is currently imprisoned at Fort Dix, a low-security jail in New Jersey. He previously told a judge during his trial that he had gone sober for the first time in 25 years.

Denying reported prison violations, a family spokesperson for Diddy, Juda Engelmayer, told TMZ: “As with any high-profile individual in a new environment, there will be many rumours and exaggerated stories throughout his time there – most of them untrue.”

“We ask that people give him the benefit of the doubt, the privacy to focus on his personal growth with grace and purpose,” they continued.

Earlier this month, Diddy’s lawyers issued a cease and desist order to Netflix, arguing that 50 Cent’s new four-part docuseries on the disgraced musician uses “stolen footage”.

Sean Combs: The Reckoning was released on December 2, described as a “staggering examination of the media mogul, music legend, and convicted offender”. A spokesperson for Combs called it a “shameful hit piece”.
