Deaths have been confirmed following an explosion at a Manchester Arena concert
The incident occurred during an Ariana Grande show
Reports of an explosion occurring at a Monday evening Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena have been confirmed by police. Police have also confirmed "a number of fatalities", though details have yet to be confirmed.
Concert-goers fled the stadium after "loud bangs" were heard, and other witnesses reported seeing people covered in blood exiting the venue.

"Everyone was screaming and running, there were coats and people's phones on the floor," a witness named Robert Tempkin told BBC. "People just dropped everything."
Update: Latest confirmed reports state that at least 19 people have died and over 50 have been injured.
