Deadmau5 to score the action noir Netflix thriller 'Polar'

Deadmau5 to score the action noir Netflix thriller 'Polar'

Back in June, deadmau5 revealed that he's hard at work producing a film score. On Twitter, he apologized to his fans for the recent "music draught" and let everyone know that he's been working "the lonesome graveyard shift a lot lately on a film score."

Today, the mau5 took to Twitter once again to reveal that "the mouse is out of the bag" in regards to his first film score which will soundtrack the forthcoming Netflix thriller, Polar.

Directed by Jonas Åkerlund, the film is an alteration of Victor Santos' graphic novel 'Polar: Came From the Cold' - a story about a retired assassin who must evade and confront those who his former employer sent to kill him. The movie will star Vanessa Hudgens, Mads Mikkelsen and Kaheryn Winnick among others.

The movie will be distributed by Constantine Films and released on Netflix in early 2019.
