Deadmau5 plays a surprise DJ set at Comic Con
The Canadian made an unannounced after party appearance at San Diego’s Fluxx on Friday
Deadmau5 played a surprise DJ set on Friday, playing an unbilled Comic Con after-party that was free to attend for the few hundred people there.
YourEDM reported that the event, billed as the Comic Con Cinephile Party - with the venue decked out with props from famous movie sets - was only two thirds full during his set because nobody knew it was happening.
Before the show, Deadmau5 spent the day hanging out at Comic Con. Surprisingly the Canadian blended right in at the annual get together of everything geek.
You wouldn't believe how many people thought it was a good cover. Which is cool Coz I got to check out #ComicCon https://t.co/WvlX62TT23

Deadmau5 has been his usual vocal self on Twitter of late, most prominently when he said that Jack Ü's track with Justin Bieber "blows donkeyballs".
