This weekend Deadmau5 revealed on Instagram that he will be releasing a rework of his most renowned piece, the classic 'Strobe'.

In celebration of Zimmerman's 100th release on his Mau5trap imprint, the Canadian producer captioned his short Instagram video: "Working on the official 100th release on mau5trap records. It's been a long 7 years, you've come a long way baby". Though he doesn't mention the song title, the melody and tune are undeniable.

'Strobe' was released in 2009 off of Joel's 'For Lack Of A Better Name' - arguably his most prolific album which also included the legendary tracks 'FML', 'Ghosts N' Stuff' and 'Hi Friend!'. Since his Ultra releases, mau5 has signed on a growing roster of artists to his mau5trap label and helped shape the blossoming electronic music scene.
