Deadboy's six-track 'White Magick' EP treads a rich pathway of sound. He even turns an ambient hand to the beautiful 'Rye Angel', but it's the grimy, upfront 'Copwar' that best encapsulates what he's about.

Shiny, sci-fi melody loops collide with destructive low-end stabs and scattered claps to create an intense, multi-layered take on instrumental grime.

It's by no means overly aggressive, but neither is it over-thought or contrived; it'll work just as well on your morning commute as it will in the club. Grows and grows with every listen.
