Dancing Family has teamed up with Social Records Society to curate a community-driven night at Corsica Studios, set to take place on September 1.

Coinciding with five year celebrations of Social Records Society, the two crews have carefully programmed a 10:PM-through-5:AM party consisting of close friends and favourite DJs to soundtrack each room of the venue.

In charge of Room 1, Dancing Family are to host Shivum Sharma, Riva, Tommaso and CHELA, with Room 2 a vinyl-only affair put together by Social Records Society. Headlining is NTS resident Raji Rags, Rohan Rakhit, and residents of the Social Records Society crew.

"We are really looking forward to collaborating with Social Records Society," Yohan of Dancing Family tells Mixmag. "They are a core grassroots organisation in the SE London music scene and have created a space for vinyl lovers and up-and-coming selectors."

"Social Records society is a collective of vinyl lovers throwing parties across SE London!" adds the crew's Sophie Farrel. "This September marks five years of SRS, which was originally a Wednesday night listening party with one turntable at a small venue called sister midnight records in Deptford.

"It has kept moulding and growing with the selectors, dancers and the community of people that inhabit it."
