Beyoncé has cancelled her headline slot at Coachella and Daft Punk are favourites to replace her.

UK betting company Betfair is offering 3/1 odds on the French pair headlining the California festival, making them favourites ahead of Jay Z, Kanye West and Rihanna.

Naomi Totten, a spokesperson for Betfair, said: “Rumours have been circulating about a tour for Daft Punk and what a spectacular way to kick off their revival than by headlining Coachella.

"With Beyoncé now officially very pregnant, she has had to rule herself out of the April festival and so all attention is now focused on who will be wowing the crowds in her absence."

Daft Punk recently performed at the Grammys with The Weeknd, sparking calls for them to tour properly, rather than doing one-off cameos.

Their last tour was Alive 2006/2007 and Coachella was the opening date.
