Yesterday Alice Glass of Crystal Castles published extremely troubling accounts of physical, psychological and sexual abuse by her former bandmate Ethan Kath.

Following the news, which seemed to explain Glass' departure from the group in 2014, a number of Crystal Castles shows have been cancelled across North America.

Performances spanning through November in California, Washington, Oregon, Illinois, parts of Canada and more have been dropped from venue schedules.

The allegations against Kath, which included rape, verbal and physical abuse and threatening against her wishes to leave Crystal Castles, has caused an uproar in the music community.

Ethan Kath has denied the accusations in Glass' statement, responding that "her story is pure fiction" and "there are many witnesses who can and will confirm I was never abusive to Alice".
