Since the tragic passing of her husband in 2008, things have been understandably quiet on the musical front for Corinne Bailey Rae – her last studio album ‘The Sea’ was released way back in 2010.
Exploring ideas of nature, dreams, the body and instinct on new LP ‘The Heart Speaks In Whispers’, she’s grown musically. ‘Been To The Moon’ is more leftfield than her earlier work and, while not a hit, it’s pretty special.
