Coco & Breezy release new single ‘Lemme See’

Producer and DJ duo Coco & Breezy have released their new single, ‘Lemme See’.

The tune features Ye Ali, and blends the duo’s love for house, R&B and soul. It follows on from singles ‘Convo’ and ‘U’.

‘Lemme See’ incorporates a flow of percussion, layered with strong bass and kickdrums, whilst Ye Ali’s feature adds R&B flair to the duo’s groove-inducing backdrop of sound.

On the release, the duo tell Mixmag: “As we continue to define our sound, our newest single, ‘Lemme See’ explores our love for dance music with our influences from R&B...and it's just in time for cuffing season!”

“We got to collaborate with our long-time friend Ye Ali, which has been overdue. The warm chords & organic percussion flow under a bouncing bass & kick that feed the soul. We are super excited about this release and hope you love it too!”

Coco & Breezy have moved through the industry, submerging themselves into the changing face of dance music and exploring what it means to be technically accomplished Afro-Latina women who DJ and produce.

“Our music reflects all of the influences in our lives, different from how we might be stereotyped,” the pair explain. “We love house music and infusing R&B, and Afro-Latino grooves that are a part of our DNA.”

“Our music represents our journey as we develop our own sound. Our lyrical content is a reflection of our lives and timely to the world. It’s about reaching outward to find common ground. We hope people can connect to our world, with all its textures and styles."
