Coachella plans to expand next year with new stages
2017 could see a brand new stage at the festival
Coachella has continued to lead within the US festival realm as one of the only festivals able to maintain and sell-out both weekends consistently since expanding in 2012.
Following the most recent 2016 edition, blueprints for the festival's 2017 layout have been revealed in an environmental report, showing an exciting new expansion that Coachella has yet to formally announce.
If all goes according to the below maps, new stages could appear at next year's festival near the festival's main entrance where the Yuma tent has traditionally been placed. The stage is projected to be a large one, comparable to the festival's second largest stage known as the Outdoor Stage.
