Let's ignore the fact that we're offered an edit of Double Exposure's 'Everyman'. If you don't have the Danny Krivit edit or original already you need to question your disco credentials and frankly why anyone would release another edit of it is beyond us. It is entitled 'Every Person' rather than 'Everyman', so I guess it's more politically correct. Fortunately, 'Standing Passengers' makes the EP worth it's weight in gold: it's the type of quirky cocaine-fuelled disco that you'd find by acts like Material Ze Records and the Disco Not Disco comps on Strut Recortds. Think New York post-punk bass combined with more traditional disco drums and the kind of camp piano and guitar licks that you'd hope from a Daniel Wang set at Horse Meat Disco. Also on the EP are 'Discoglide' (too OTT) and 'Fix It Man' is a wicked late 80s house jam.
