Chris Lake in The Lab LA

The Lab Los Angeles is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly post-work unwind where we stream only the finest American and international DJs, live and direct from our Downtown LA office. LA-based, London-born house artist Chris Lake joins us this Friday.

Chris Lake has proved he has a stronghold on modern house music. He's truly explored the genre from one end to the other, progressive to soul to tech and beyond. In 2012 Chris Lake was signed to Ultra Music, where he hit the charts hard with four massive releases.

As of now, he has started to find himself a much more tech-oriented, highly-danceable house sound. He's gained millions of plays on SoundCloud just this year with his remixes of SNBRN's 'California' and Calvin Harris' 'How Deep Is Your Love'; Chris has also found major success with his latest original release 'Stranger', out now via Ultra.
