Jazzy hopper from the Chicago producer as Hudd Traxx celebrates 10 years
Matthew Herbert, Rolando, Rick Wade and DJ Sneak. That's just a bundle of names who've released on UK house label Hudd Traxx since Slum Science (Eddie Leader, Danny White and Dan Ruck) sparked it into life in 2005.
Huddersfield-based (the clue's in the name, really), the label's synonymous with fresh-flavoured jams geared towards the dancefloor, while its mix series on SoundCloud, Huddcast, guarantees you'll be frantically trying to hunt down track IDs.
To celebrate 10 years of releases, 50 to be exact, it's bringing out a four-part compilation series, '10 Years of Hudd Traxx - Now & Then' featuring Chez Damier, Rick Wade, Iz & Diz and Ekkohaus among others.
Part One's out on May 4 and we've got the exclusive of 'El Fin Esta Cerca' from Chicago veteran Chez Damier. Adding to his long list of gleaming productions, this one would get the stamp of approval from the finest of jazz musicians. Listen below and you'll know exactly what we mean.
