If you, like us, always find your ear caught by a futurist sound palette, then Celestial Trax will be in your orbit sooner or later.

The New York-based Londoner is the new heir to the distroid sound first showcased a few years back by artists such as Jam City, James Ferraro and Fatima Al Qadiri.

Here, with the possible benefit of hindsight, Trax manages to pull the best aspects of his predecessors’ digital collage and club-banging together for three dystopian party tracks and one cinematic sci-fi exploration.
