The Lab NYC is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly afterwork party where we stream the best American and international DJs from the intimate space connected to our Brooklyn office. This Friday, Mixmag welcomes Polish house duo Catz 'N Dogz to The Lab NYC for the city's best weekend pre-game.
The two friends, Grzegorz and Wojciech, need little introduction as one of dance music's most prolific pairs. The top-notch producers have released to major success over the years, putting out records on Kompakt, Dirtybird, Get Physical, XL, Capitol, Sony and of course their own imprint, Pets Recordings.
Catz 'N Dogz latest studio album, 2015's 'Basic Colour Theory' acted as a landmark in their career, reimagining their coveted house style with vocals from Green Velvet and a massive remix pack featuring Jamie Jones, Claude VonStroke and Anja Schneider.
As 2017 progresses, the duo is fresh off the 'Upsi Bubsi' EP and is currently set to curate an upcoming Watergate mix series.
Following their exclusive Lab NYC set, Catz 'N Dogz will be performing at Brooklyn's Schimanski for the Chat Lunatique party on Friday night with PillowTalk and Carlos Chiesa.
