Carla dal Forno reveals her third album, 'Come Around'

Australian artist Carla dal Forno has unveiled her forthcoming album, 'Come Around', set for release on November 4 via her own imprint, Kallista Records.

The first album since her move to her native Australia - having previously been based across Berlin and London over the timespan of nearly a decade - it embodies her sense of newfound solitude demonstrated through her songwriting and employment of catchy pop hooks.

Alongside the announcement, dal Forno dropped title track 'Come Around' which illustrates her new focus on rekindling old bonds, with and accompanying visuals to boot.

"’Come Around’ was inspired by a guy I used to play in a band with," she explains on the album's title track. "I really admired the way he played guitar. He had this laid back strum that was effortless and cool. I was mucking around at home one day trying to imitate the way he played and I wrote ‘Come Around.’”

”I wrote the song during a carefree springtime and I loved working on it while recording this album. There’s a lightness and openness to it, which I feel quite liberated by. It reminds me of a life I once had with very few responsibilities.”

The album as a whole lays bare the creative and emotive journey dal Forno has embarked upon since her previous album, 2019's 'Look Up Sharp', this time exploring concepts of the passing of time and energies associated with such.

Whilst you wait for the album, you can save the tune 'Come Around' now, or check out the titular track's video above.
