Carl Craig goes on a voyage for Benji B
Tracks by Aphrohead, Julian Jeweil and the man himself feature
Techno titan Carl Craig joined Benji B on Radio 1 on Thursday, delivering a 'voyage' mix.
Benji preceded it by dropping a few of Carl's tracks in ('Angola', 'Sandstorms' and 'Desire' under his 69 alias), before the Planet E boss kicked things off with Hal 9000's contribution to the '2001: A Space Odyssey OST'.
The sci-fi theme continues with the cosmic 'Bunsen Burner' from Ex Machina, but the house and techno's present with Dennis Ferrer's mix of Luciano's '7direction(s)', Radio Slave's remix of Aphrohead's 'Let's Prance' and a C2 version of 'Sometimes I Feel So Deserted' by The Chemical Brothers.
