'Home' features a Gloria Barnes sample of the same name. Snaith explains his reason for choosing the song: "I kept returning to it, meaning to do something with it but not knowing what. Sometimes making music feels like a process I'm in charge of ... but there are other times when things just present themselves and my job is to follow their lead. It wasn't until the circumstances of someone close to me mirrored the refrain of the original song that the track all came together."

For the past few years, Snaith has only been producing music under his dancefloor-induced moniker, Daphni. His last album as Caribou, 'Our Love,' came out in 2014 and was widely adored. With this new release, Caribou has announced an extensive international tour for Spring 2020.
