Bushwacka! and Carl Cox team up for aptly named cut 'Music Is Life'
The house anthem features vocals from Chuck Roberts
Bushwacka! and Carl Cox have teamed up to share new single 'Music Is Life'.
With vocals from the universally-recognised voice of house music Chuck Roberts, providing rhythmic vocals and wordless adlibs, the bouncing energy of the house cut is heightened by driving drums, raw snares and twitchy synths.

"It’s such a great vibe and there is nothing that sounds like it right now. It’s paving the way forward," notes Cox. "Every time this gets played, the dance floor goes bonkers - it's really special, and busting with energy," adds Bushwacka!.
The release is accompanied by its radio edit, but also a 'Deep Mix' for a more stripped-back affair. Riding on smooth drums and basslines, added winding synths add a warmer feel to the track, primed for early-hours dancing.
It feels as though Cox and Bushwacka!'s union was inevitable. Neither needs introduction: with Carl Cox a seminal figure in dance music, a frontrunner with his DJ and live sets plus Intec label. Bushwacka!, meanwhile, was at the birth of the acid house era, laying down the foundations for the first wave of tech house.
