Brooklyn's art space and performance venue Palisades was shut down last week.

The small and intimate venue, which often highlighted electronic acts, was closed during Northside Festival by the police on June 10.

Palisades Brooklyn first addressed the issue via Twitter the day after the closure, explaining it would be closed for the "next few days". Since the statement, the club has confirmed its doors will remain shut for another "month and a half, if not more".

Co-owner Arial Bitran has reported to Resident Advisor: 'We're currently moving all gigs but could reopen in August."

The official reason behind the closure remains unspecified. Scheduled shows for the upcoming weeks have been moved to various locations.
