Brian Eno creates an infinitely-evolving app to pair with new album
Generative and endlessly changing
Brian Eno has designed an innovative new application for iPhone and AppleTV that pairs with his upcoming 'Reflection' album.
The full-length studio work, releasing on Warp on January 1, contains a 54-minute ambient track that Eno felt required a second form of representation.
The 'Reflection' app will be an alternate form of the album, described as "an endless and endlessly changing version of the piece of music". Eno explains that his creation evolves differently every single time and is a complex, generative program slated to give users an infinite scope of experience.
Brian Eno's 'Reflection' will also be released in standard digital and vinyl formats.
