Boys Noize b2b VTSS in the Mixmag Lab x ARC Music Festival
Rampant rhythm from two electro and techno stalwarts
The Mixmag Lab is our live event where we showcase the finest DJs direct from our world-famous office party, and elsewhere across the globe.
Back in 2025, we enlisted the dance music legend Boys Noize and techno queen VTSS for a very special edition of the Mixmag Lab at Chicago's Arc Music Festival.
Few artists attain the intricate balance of blending pop-cultural influences and niche electronic sub-genres while maintaining credibility quite like VTSS. With a skilful blend of refined productions and raw DIY authenticity, she breaks barriers and consistently delivers undeniable bangers. However, her selections go further, infusing each of her sets with a spirit of exploration, making her the perfect partner for techno punk Boyz Noize.
As an artist and producer, Boys Noize has created a sound that is peerless, uncompromising, and enduring – respected in the scene, banging from underground to mainstream, to even forming a new outfit, Nine Inch Noize, with Nine Inch Nails. Boys Noize's work flies in the face of convention at every turn having remixed Daft Punk, Depeche Mode, David Lynch and Nine Inch Nails and collaborated with Snoop Dogg, Jarvis Cocker and Santigold.
Over the last six years, ARC has become an essential meeting point for electronic music’s most influential figures, emerging stars, and underground trailblazers, set against the backdrop of Chicago, the birthplace of house music. A bounty of rich musical moments have anchored the festival’s reputation over its first four editions including Carl Cox B2B Green Velvet, Jamie xx, Derrick Carter b2b Honey Dijon, Rossi. B2B Josh Baker, and many more. It’s these multi-generational, scene-defying triumphs make that ARC more than just a festival - it's a window into the past, present and future of sound and lifestyle that's traveled from the Midwest to the world.
