Bok Bok will 'Salvage 2017’ with new EP

Bok Bok has announced details of a new four-track EP called ‘Salvage 2017’.

The return of the Night Slugs label boss and recent Lab DJ has been long-awaited, and is set to be his most grime-informed material in years.

Opening track ‘Island Hopping’ is equally sweet and sullen. The “brightest of the bunch” according to the press release, it paves the way for a darker, more down-cast narrative, in contrast to the often optimistic material heard on 2014’s ‘Your Charizmatic Self’.

The EP is also described as being “built with raw 12-bit samples" with tracks "inspired by and intended for DJs, MCs, radio sets and sweaty, blacked-out dancefloors”.
