Scissor & Thread is a house label set up by producer Francis Harris and with an organic, woozy house sound that works as well for sofa surfers as in a club setting. One of its acts, Bob Moses – the NYC-based Canadian duo of Jimmy Vallance and Tom Howie – offer a bit extra, meandering between atmospheric deep house and moody electro-pop, and Domino will release a full album later this year. For now, though, there's this dazzling, retrospective collection of EPs. Headed up by the broody, wintry house of 'Far From The Tree' and 'Grace', a lazy, guitar-flecked shuffle, it's a tantalising precursor to what could well prove to be a stellar future.
