This September, South African DJ and GRAMMY award-winning producer Black Coffee takes on one of the longest sets of his career at London’s Beckenham Place Park.

Heading south of the river to Lewisham for the day-long event, Black Coffee will perform a one-off headline show appearing alongside friends, all of which announced later down the line.

The event takes place on September 11 at a currently undisclosed time from the team behind RE-TEXTURED and Naked City, Krankbrother, as well as Metropolis Music.

Black Coffee’s extended set will see the DJ “bring his signature sound to the idyllic rolling grasslands of Beckenham Place Park, which is nestled amongst protected ancient woodland and a beautiful lake,” according to a press release.

The event ground uses a recently converted golf course amongst woodland and historic buildings spanning acres of space, which will boast two stages during the event.

The producer’s all-day set comes shortly after he received nominations and awards for the recently-released LP, ’Subconsciously’, which dropped in February last year.

The seventh studio album led the producer to receive his first-ever GRAMMY Award in the dance/electronic music category this year and made history as the first person of African descent to win under that category.

“I want to thank God for the gift of music and being able to share it with the world and heal some souls and help people go through whatever they’re going through in life,” he said while accepting the award on stage.

Elsewhere, Black Coffee has announced his Hï Ibiza residency this summer, taking over the club every Saturday from May 14 to October 1.

Pre-sale tickets for Black Coffee’s all-dayer go on Tuesday, May 10, at 1:PM. General sale tickets go on sale 24 hours later - sign up here.
