Björk's new remix EP on "slug genitalia" vinyl features Jlin and Lanark Artefax
Björk inspires a beautiful blend of techno, footwork and IDM
Icelandic musical treasure and Mixmag cover star Björk has tapped Kelly Lee Owens, Lanark Artefax and Jlin for a remix EP of her single ‘Arisen My Senses’.
Three of the most unique and cutting-edge artists to hit the electronic scene as of late, the remix EP is a twisting mishmash of blooming, vocal heavy techno, urgent footwork and propulsive IDM. Released via Little Indian Records, the artist reveals that the three-track vinyl release is pressed onto what she is calling “slug genitalia colored” wax.
The unsettling and slippery artwork for the release was created by Jesse Kanda, a visual artist who has worked closely with both Björk and the original track’s co-producer Arca.
