Björk played a secret set at Hyperdub's Corsica Studios party last night
The Icelandic artist, Arca and more joined Jesse Kanda in south London
For the third instalment of Hyperdub’s mid-week party series Ø, visual artist Jesse Kanda (under the name Doon Kanda) took over Corsica Studios last night with Björk, Arca, Mica Levi and Shannen SP taking to the decks as special guests.
With a smoke-filled, strobe-lit set, the Icelandic singer was met with rapturous excitement as she put the crowd through their paces. Her appearance, while unexpected, was a natural fit, having worked with Kanda in the past.
Following on from the release of his EP on the label, ‘Heart’, Kanda turned room one into a shrine-like art installation entitled, ‘Therianthropes.'
