Bjarki rolls out his new label with a breakbeat rocket
X-Static's 'My Inspiration' comes with a new version from the Icelandic producer
Bjarki's new label bbbbbb Records launches on February 3.
'My Inspiration' by X-Static, originally released on Production House in 1992, is the lead track on the release and Bjarki's 'Sweetest Thing' version acts as the B-side.
The original is a bonkers rave tune with shrieking vocals and tangled synths, while Bjarki's edit goes down a slightly calmer breakbeat route.
A trawler in Iceland is the venue for the release's launch party next month.
Bjarki's 'Sweetest Thing' edit is his first output of 2017 after last year's 'Æ' and 'Lefhanded Fuqs' albums and 'Fresh Jive' EP on трип.
